These Terms govern your use of the Sudoku application. By downloading, installing, or using Sudoku, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
License and Use
Sudoku is provided under the license terms included with each release. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application on your devices in accordance with the license terms.
Offline-First Design with Optional Cloud Features
Sudoku is an offline-first application. All game data — settings, game state, and statistics — is stored locally on your device by default.
Optional cloud features include:
- iCloud sync (via CloudKit): Syncs data across your Apple devices using your personal iCloud account.
- Game Center: Provides leaderboards and achievements.
- "More Apps": An optional feature that fetches a list of sibling apps; no personal data is transmitted.
No personal data is collected by us beyond what is managed by Apple's iCloud and Game Center services when you explicitly opt in.
User Responsibilities
- Use Sudoku lawfully and in compliance with applicable rules.
- Do not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or modify the app in violation of the license.
- Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Privacy
Please review the Privacy Policy for information about data practices. In short: no data is collected by us; optional cloud features use only Apple's iCloud and Game Center services with your explicit consent.
No Warranty
Sudoku is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainers disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising from your use of the application.
Termination
The rights granted to you terminate automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
